Glastonbury Festival can be described in one word = unreal. Imagine creating a small city from scratch filled with countless villages, each designed out of your wildest imagination. Then add over 100 stages lined with your favorite performers from around the world. Then add campgrounds and a ton of mud.
We set up shop with Leenie Mayfield (Mayfield Agency) + Tim (heyo!) and drove the 2 hours from London to the town of Glastonbury. Our friends at TheQ Camera set us up with their newest model and we got to preview it during the fest. Our first day we explored, getting a grip on just how many other people were there with us… wowza.
Later that night we chilled back stage and chatted with The Partysquad before they DJ’d alongside M.I.A.
The next day it was time for our performance! We were at the Silver Hayes village and performed on the Blues Stage which (get this) was a re-creation of shanty town villas in Brazil, taking up the size of an entire block. CRAZY. It started to pour during our set but that seemed to only enhance the crowd. We wille bounced in the rain and we loved it.
Glastonbury at night turns into a completely different world. Life size mazes, 6 story high installations and light shows beyond compare.
On our last day, there was only one thing to do. Explore the rest of the weirdness we didn’t catch the first day, all while trekking through the slippery mud. Cheers!
All in all an amazing experience! Special thanks to Leenie Mayfield, The Q Camera and all our new fans and friends!
